Credit: Gavin BondMuse has been slowly teasing fans via their Instagram with info about the band's forthcoming album, entitled Drones, but now some new details have been revealed by another source. Artist Matt Mahurin has announced via his Instagram that he will be in charge of designing the new album's cover.
"Doing the photography, illustration and design for the next Muse record Drones," Mahurin's post reads. "Thrilled and grateful to be working with the band on an incredible project." The statement captions a photo displaying a folder, which Mahurin says, "contains my cover and concept designs."
Mahurin has designed album covers for Marilyn Manson, Ozzy Osbourne and The Ramones.
Muse recently revealed that their forthcoming album would be called Drones through an Instagram video. The video quickly pans over a screen that reads ""Artist: Muse, Album: Drones." Since that video, the band has been tagging posts #MuseDrones.
