Darren AnkenmanVance Joy has landed a spot on the Paper Towns soundtrack. The Australian singer-songwriter penned a new tune, called "Great Summer," for the coming-of-age film.
The album arrives July 10, but if you pre-order now, you'll receive "Great Summer" as an instant download. Additionally, Joy will be performing at a live streaming event for soundtrack at the YouTube Space L.A. on Friday, July 17. The event will celebrate the release of the album and feature appearances by cast members.
Other artists featured on the Paper Towns soundtrack include The War on Drugs, Saint Motel, Grouplove, Vampire Weekend and HAIM.
The film follows the story of a teen, played by Nat Wolff, who goes on an adventure to track down his beautiful, mysterious neighbor, played by Cara Delevingne. It's based on a novel by The Fault in Our Stars author John Green.
Paper Towns hits theaters July 24.
