"It's an unfriendly, fairly impenetrable record that we needed to make," says frontman Trent Reznor of Not the Actual Events. "It's an EP because that ended up being the proper length to tell that story."
Not the Actual Events will be released December 23. It is the first batch of new Nine Inch Nails music since their 2013 album Hesitation Marks.
