Panic! at the Disco Unveils New Song, “Victorious”

Image Courtesy of Fueled by RamenOn their last single, Panic! at the Disco proclaimed "Hallelujah," and their newest song carries a similarly celebratory title. Called "Victorious," the track is a bit darker than the unbridled joy of "Hallelujah," but still features lines such as "Tonight we are victorious, champagne pouring over us." You can listen to "Victorious" now on YouTube.

"I was never really great at sports," frontman Brendon Urie writes of "Victorious." "Never picked first for the team. Never had any game saving plays or tricks I could use to my advantage to then be hoisted upon my team mates' shoulders in praise of my winning awesomeness. But what I missed in that regard, I made up for in passion and intensity. The guy who was known for turning up the crazy...that's truly victorious."

Both "Hallelujah" and "Victorious," as well as the song "Death of a Bachelor," will be featured on Panic! at the Disco's forthcoming new album, the band's first since 2013's Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die!. It will also be the first Panic! album with Urie as the lone remaining original member of the band.
