Report: Slipknot Guitarist Mick Thomson Hospitalized After Knife Fight with his Brother

Credit: M. Shawn CrahanSlipknot guitarist Mick Thomson and his brother, Andrew Thomson, have both been hospitalized following a knife fight, Billboard reports. The fight occurred at Mick's residence in Clive, Iowa.

Both brothers suffered serious injuries, but nothing life-threatening, police tell Billboard. Mick and Andrew reportedly appeared to be drunk when police arrived.

"In regards to the story about Mick, I'm doing the best I can to find out if he's alright," Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor writes on Twitter. "I'll get back to you later."

Slipknot's latest Prepare for Hell tour is scheduled to begin in April. The band will then launch their Summer's Last Stand tour with Lamb of God, Bullet for My Valentine and Motionless in White in July.
