2015 is beginning to look a lot like the year of Sleater-Kinney. After selling out nearly all of their previously-announced February dates, the newly-reunited indie rock band has added a bundle of new tour stops in April and May. The new dates begin on April 16 in Dallas, Texas and conclude with a two-night stand at The Showbox in Seattle, Washington on May 8 and 9.
Tickets for the newly-announced tour dates will go on pre-sale starting December 10 at 10 a.m. local time at Sleater-Kinney.com.
Sleater-Kinney announced in October they'd be reuniting after they included a new track, "Bury Our Friends," as a single in Start Together, a limited-edition vinyl boxed set consisting remastered versions of the band's seven previous albums. They also revealed they'd release a new album, No Cities to Love, and would be going on tour for the first time since 2006, the year they announced an indefinite hiatus.
No Cities to Love -- Sleater-Kinney's first album since 2005's The Woods -- will be released January 20.
