As a preview, the band has uploaded a short clip of their version of grunge titans Alice in Chains' "We Die Young." You can listen to the clip now on Stone Sour's Facebook page.
Stone Sour's version of "We Die Young" seems to stay fairly true to the original, with frontman Corey Taylor taking his shot at the legendary vocal talents of the late Layne Staley.
Meanwhile in Burbank... will also feature covers of Metallica's "Creeping Death," Judas Priest's "Heading Out to the Highway," KISS' "Love Gun" and Black Sabbath's "Children of the Grave."
Record Store Day will take place in independent record stores across the country on April 18.
