The top of the bill is stacked with some of rock's biggest names, including The Black Keys, Florence + The Machine, My Morning Jacket, Lana Del Rey and Björk. The undercard is equally flush with talent: it features Ryan Adams, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Tame Impala, The Decemberists, St. Vincent, The War on Drugs, Death From Above 1979, Royal Blood, Conor Oberst, Vance Joy, Priory and many more.

Last year's Governors Ball featured sets from Jack White, The Strokes, Vampire Weekend, Damon Albarn, Spoon, TV on the Radio and Bastille. Consequence of Sound named Gov Ball 2014 the "Festival of the Year."
