The Dead Weather Releases Live “I Feel Love (Every Million Miles)” Video; Jack White Launches Photography Exhibit

Third Man RecordsSince The Dead Weather won't be touring in support of their forthcoming album, Dodge and Burn, you'll have to make due with the band's newly released live performance video for their latest single, "I Feel Love (Every Million Miles)." You can watch the black-and-white clip now on YouTube.

The Dead Weather will be making at least one more live appearance when Jack White and company play The Late Show with Stephen Colbert September 14. Dodge and Burn will be released September 25.

In related news, White's Third Man Records label, known for their devotion to vinyl, are hoping to resurrect another relic from the past: the Polaroid camera. Along with Polaroid-enthusiasts The Impossible Project, TMR is launching an exhibit showcasing instant-film photographs that develop in black and yellow -- the label's signature colors.

“Photography using mechanical means is a beautiful art form," White says in a statement. "Digital pictures are very portable and easy to make happen, but you can't hold the photo in your hand, or put it in a family album. There's a romantic feeling of pulling a photograph out of a Polaroid camera, holding it your hands and showing it to others. It can't be replaced or replicated."

The exhibit will feature photographs taken by artist Patrick Pantano, who shot the cover photos for The White Stripes albums Elephant and White Blood Cells, along with White's tour photographer, David Swanson, and TMR photographer Angelina Castillo. It'll be on display in the Third Man Records' Nashville headquarters September 10-16.
