ABC/Randy HolmesThe Head and the Heart has reached the top of Billboard's Alternative Songs chart for the first time in their career. The band's new single, "All We Ever Knew," currently sits at number one on the tally.
"All We Ever Knew" is the lead single from The Head and the Heart's new album, Signs of Light, which debuted at a career-high number five on the Billboard 200.
As Billboard points out, The Head and the Heart is the fourth band to earn their first number-one single on Alternative Songs in 2016, following Kaleo with "Way Down We Go," The Strumbellas with "Spirits" and Nothing But Thieves with "Trip Switch."
