Tori Amos to Release Deluxe Editions of “Little Earthquakes” and “Under the Pink”

Credit: Amarpaul KaliraiThis May will mark a year since Tori Amos released her more recent album, Unrepentant Geraldines.  The good news for fans is, we'll be getting new music from her even before then -- in some old packaging.

Amos is reissuing her first two albums, 1992's Little Earthquakes and 1994's Grammy-nominated Under the Pink, on April 14. Both titles will be released on deluxe two-disc sets featuring remastered audio of the original albums, plus a collection of b-sides, live performances and other rarities. The remastered albums will also be released on vinyl, marking the first time Little Earthquakes and Under the Pink will be available on wax in the U.S.

As a preview, Amos has released "Take to the Sky," a b-side to to the original "Winter" single, a track from Little Earthquakes. Some versions of the "Winter" single also included Amos' famous cover of Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit," which is also on the Little Earthquakes rarities disc. You can stream "Take to the Sky" now on YouTube.

Under the Pink earned Amos her first Grammy nomination, for Best Alternative Album.
