Twenty One Pilots Announces New Album, “Blurryface”

Image Courtesy of Fueled by RamenTwenty One Pilots has announced the release of their new album. Entitled Blurryface, the album will be released on May 19. As a preview of Blurryface, the band has released the track "Fairly Local," which is streaming now on YouTube.

Since "Fairly Local" was released on Tuesday, the track has reached the number one spot on the iTunes Alternative Chart and the top five on the Billboard Twitter Chart, which keeps track of the most shared and trending songs. "Fairly Local" isn't an official Blurryface single, though -- that would be "Tear in My Heart," which will be released on April 6.

In support of Blurryface, Twenty One Pilots will be launching a world tour beginning with a stint in the U.K. in May. Following a few festival apperances, including one at Bonnaroo, the band will embark on a full-scale North American tour beginning  September 8 with a show in Washington, D.C. That trek will wrap up October 29 in St. Paul, Minnesota.
