Twenty One Pilots' last album, 2013's Vessel, never peaked higher than number 58 on the Billboard 200, but it has consistently moved units. Since its release in January 2013, Vessel has sold 265,000 copies and has moved at least 1,000 copies every week.

Blurryface's debut also makes Twenty One Pilots the third rock group to release their first number-one album in 2015, following Imagine Dragons' Smoke + Mirrors and Alabama Shakes' Sound & Color.

Twenty One Pilots will play a few festival dates this summer, including Bunbury and Bonnaroo, before beginning a full-scale North American tour in September.
