Image Group LA/ABCTwenty One Pilots' social media skills will be recognized at this year's Shorty Awards, which highlight the best content across social media spheres including Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, YouTube, Instagram, Vine and Periscope.
The "Stressed Out" duo are one of a dozen music acts nominated as a social media "influencers." In describing their worthiness for the award, the Shortys praise Twenty One Pilots' "artful eye and vision for social media strategy."
Other influencer nominees in the music category include The 1975, rapper Drake and pop star Ariana Grande.
