Tonight, ABC will air Taking the Stage: African American Music and Stories that Changed America, an all-star celebration to highlight the Smithsonian's new National Museum of African American History and Culture.
The show, which was taped last September in Washington, D.C., includes a performance from Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, who will be playing alongside R&B and funk group Trouble Funk during the ceremony.
Other performers on the Taking the Stage lineup include Stevie Wonder, Gladys Knight, Herbie Hancock, Mary J. Blige, Jamie Foxx, Usher and Christina Aguilera. Additionally, first lady Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Dave Chappelle, Tom Hanks and Will Smith make appearances on the special.
Taking the Stage airs tonight at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
