Image Courtesy of WBR PressRoyal Blood has taken on at The Police's 1978 classic "Roxanne" for BBC Radio's Live Lounge series. The British duo strips away the original's tango rhythm and replace it with their signature heavy, distorted bass riffs and thunderous drumming. You can watch the performance on YouTube.

Royal Blood has been making quite a few headlines lately. The band won Best Live Band and Best New Band at Wednesday night's NME Awards. They are also up for British Breakthrough Act, Best British Group and Best British Album at the 2015 Brit Awards -- the British equivalent of the Grammys. The Brit Awards will be held February 25 in London.

Come this May, Royal Blood will be tangoing through a U.S. headlining tour. That tour begins May 25 in Portland, Oregon. Following their headlining stint, Royal Blood will be hitting the stadium circuit as the openers for Foo Fighters starting in July.
