Image Courtesy of ABC/Randy HolmesJared Leto has a lot on his plate. The Oscar-winning actor/musician is gearing up to play the iconic comic-book villain the Joker in the upcoming Suicide Squad movie, and, of course, touring with his band, 30 Seconds to Mars.
"I'm terminally dissatisfied," Leto tells Billboard in this week's cover story. "That's probably part of being an artist."
Known for his roles in Dallas Buyers Club and Requiem for a Dream, Leto believes that he has more skills as a musician than as an actor.
"I've been onstage more hours than I've been in front of a camera," he says. "I've never made money from films. It's a challenge to make money from music these days -- that's one of the reasons I've been really entrepreneurial."
That entrepreneurial spirit has led Leto to a multitude of projects, including the founding of video platform VyRT.
"All our digital marketing and social media was done in-house before people even knew what those terms were," Leto says.
Leto and 30 Seconds to Mars will look to scratch that terminally dissatisfied itch this spring with a massive international tour, which begins this March with 15 shows in Russia.
