Credit: Brantley GutierrezAlabama Shakes will return to shake Studio 8H on February 28 as the musical guests on Saturday Night Live. The episode will be hosted by 50 Shades of Grey star Dakota Johnson.
This appearance will mark the second time Alabama Shakes has been the musical guest on SNL. The band made its SNL debut in 2013 and performed their hit "Hold On" from their album Boys & Girls. For this appearance, Alabama Shakes will likely pull out a new song, as the band's sophomore release, Sound & Color, will be released on April 21.
The February 28 SNL episode will also be the first episode since its epic 40th anniversary special, which aired last Sunday night. The three-and-a-half hour special was followed by an even more epic after-party, which featured impromptu performances from legends like Paul McCartney and Prince.
The Alabama Shakes episode of Saturday Night Live will air February 28 at 11:30 ET on NBC.
