Credit: Rachael WrightBloc Party has debuted the video for "The Love Within," the first single from their forthcoming comeback record, Hymns. The kinetic video features a variety off people flaunting their sick dance skills.
"The only rule that I had was that I wanted something that reflected the states of joy," frontman Kele Okereke tells Rolling Stone of the video. "I think the video does that. It captures being lost in the moment and that's the one way I feel like the video is connected to the song."
"I guess it's about embracing feelings of joy and being connected," he adds of "The Love Within." "I think it's ultimately about trying to explain that feeling of rapture and joy that comes with being in love with the world or universe."
Hymns is Bloc Party's first album since 2102's Four. It will be released January 29.
