Paul Marotta/Getty Images for SundanceCourtney Love once had a strained relationship with her daughter, Frances Bean Cobain, but they were all smiles Saturday at the premiere of the documentary Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck.
Love posted a photo on Instagram of herself hugging her 22-year-old daughter on the red carpet of the premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. She said of Frances Bean, who served as an executive producer on the film, "So proud of you Bean."
This is said to have been their first public appearance together in several years.
Frances Bean is the only child Courtney had with her late husband, Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, who died in 1994.
Montage of Heck will air on HBO later this year.
