Florence + the Machine, Noel Gallagher Among Leading Nominees for Britain’s Q Awards

ABC/Fred LeeFlorence + the Machine and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds are two of the leading nominees for this year's Q Awards, presented by the British music magazine.

Each earned three nominations on Wednesday, along with two other British acts: Foals and Ed Sheeran.

Florence + the Machine are contenders for Q Best Track, for "What Kind of Man"; Q Best Video, for "Ship to Wreck"; and Q Best Album, for How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful.

Noel Gallagher is nominated for Q Best Album, for Chasing Yesterday; Q Best Solo Artist; and Q Best Act in the World Today.

Muse, Mumford & Sons and Blur are among the other acts to receive nominations.
