The trek begins October 6 in San Diego and concludes with a two-night stand at the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. on October 28 and 29. Tickets will go on sale June 12. "Garbage was born out of such unusual elements and unusual circumstances, and we were shocked when the first record became such a success," says guitarist Steve Marker. "We're just as surprised to be here now, intact, so many years later, enthusiastically preparing to get back on the road with that album and all its attendant b-sides and lord knows what else."
Garbage the album spawned the singles "Vow," "Only Happy When it Rains" and "Stupid Girl," which was nominated for Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group at the 1997 Grammys.
