Iggy Pop will perform at the 2017 edition of the Tibet House U.S. Benefit Concert.
The annual event, which will be celebrating the Tibet House's 30th anniversary and the 80th birthday of renowned composer Philip Glass, will be held March 16 at New York City's Carnegie Hall.
Along with Pop, the lineup, which was curated by Glass, also features Patti Smith, New Order's Bernard Sumner and Lou Reed's widow, avant-garde artist Laurie Anderson. The concert raises money for Tibet House U.S., a non-profit organization founded in 1987 at the request of the Dalai Lama to preserve Tibetan culture.
Tickets for the 2017 Tibet House U.S. Benefit Concert are on sale now via the Carnegie Hall website.
