BT PRBilly Corgan is a well-known cat enthusiast, and as it turns out, so is The Smashing Pumpkins frontman's new touring partner, Marilyn Manson.
"We're both cat lovers," said Corgan during a recent Reddit Ask Me Anything session. Manson added, "That is true. We both love cats."
"We love cats more than we love women," Corgan said.
When asked what he would do if he were the president of the United States, Manson said, "Billy and I would live in a country where cats were presidents. Like the ancient Sphinx."
Manson and The Pumpkins will have plenty of time to talk about their love of cats when they launch their co-headlining The End Times tour this summer. They'll also be able to talk about all the crazy rumors that are spread about them.
"There used to be this rumor I was the kid from The Wonder Years," writes Corgan in the AMA. "And then somewhere over the years it turned to Manson. The rumor transferred over to him like a virus."
The End Times tour will begin July 7 in Concord, California and wrap up August 8 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
