Image Courtesy of WBR PressAfter bringing home two NME Awards, Royal Blood will look to conquer another U.K. awards show. The duo are up for three Brit Awards, which will stream live today at 3 p.m. ET on Brits.co.uk. Royal Blood is nominated for Best British Group and British Breakthrough Act, and their self-titled debut album is up for British Album of the Year.
Royal Blood will compete with CHVRCHES and George Ezra for British Breakthrough Act. Ezra is also up for British Album of the Year, as is Alt-J's sophomore effort, This Is All Yours. Along with Coldplay, Alt-J is also up for Best British Group. Damon Albarn fills out the rock representation in the British-only categories, scoring a nomination for Best British Male Solo Artist.
As for the international categories, Foo Fighters, The Black Keys, The War on Drugs and First Aid Kit received nominations for Best International Group. Jack White, Beck and Hozier are up for Best International Male Solo Artist, while Lana Del Rey and St. Vincent scored nods for Best International Female Solo Artist.
Royal Blood and George Ezra will also perform during the ceremony.
