Watch Never-Before-Seen Footage of Bradley Nowell in Slightly Stoopid’s “The Prophet” Video

Credit: Jeff FarsaiLate Sublime frontman Bradley Nowell influenced many bands and artists, particularly Slightly Stoopid, who signed to Nowell's Skunk Records while they were still in high school. Slightly Stoopid's Miles Doughty even collaborated with Nowell on a song called "The Prophet," which, more than a decade later, is Slightly Stoopid's latest single. It's fitting, then, that the new video for "The Prophet," which premiered at EW.com, features never-before-seen footage of Nowell and Doughty jamming together.

"He was just a cool cat -- full of life and music!" Doughty tells Entertainment Weekly of Nowell. "We'd sit there for hours jamming. It was cool going through the old VHS tapes and finding the original 'Prophet' jams from my pad. To see the journey the song has gone through to get where it is today...I think Brad would be stoked! We miss him and his music."

"The Prophet" is the lead single from Slightly Stoopid's latest album, Meanwhile...Back at the Lab, which was released late last month. Slightly Stoopid is currently on tour in support of Meanwhile alongside Dirty Heads.
